Roger, would it be possible to add PDFs to the list of permitted extensions for uploaded files, please? Thank you! --Uranaga 21:09, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

The special Special:Version page is still broken, returning

Class Page Overhaul

Greetings. I'm Tobias of Heraldsbridge from Faila Ranae petitioning Winter's Edge, and a convert from Wikipedia. I've been working on cleaning up assorted pages and streamlining / wiki-ing content, including creating the AfD templates currently in use and the Kingdom infoboxes at the bottom of each kingdom page. My next project is overhauling the class pages to make them more user friendly. Would you take a look at Archer and tell me what you think? I believe using a table D&D style will make it more convenient and beneficial. I welcome your feedback. --Averykrouse 03:35, 30 December 2010 (EST)

Hey there. Linden has made me a Bureaucrat to assist with the assorted updates and whatnot. Can you load the Extension:RenameUser from Mediawiki to our version?

I'd like to rename my user account to User:Tobias but the Special page that does it (Special:RenameUser) doesn't exist without that extension. If that's not possible, that's ferfectly pine. =) I can just create the new one and start fresh there, but my existing contributions wouldn't follow. Thanks! --Averykrouse 15:19, 2 January 2011 (EST)

Second this. Its on my list of extension that should probably be on this wiki. Zell Faze (Talk) 23:09, 14 May 2014 (EDT)

Rename User has been added. It was only listed as available for 1.19 to current (1.21) mediawiki, and we're on 1.18. But it seems to work fine. I guess it may be time to look into upgrading before we get too far behind though.... Roger 20:25, 16 May 2014 (EDT)

Personally I would highly recommend it. If not to the latest version, at least to a version that is listed as having long-term support. The version we currently have doesn't get any updates at all, including for security issues. If you'd like I can hunt down the 1.18 version of it. It did exist at one point. The extension was included with 1.18 of Mediawiki. Zell Faze (Talk) 09:38, 19 May 2014 (EDT)

Thank you!

Thank you for changing my user rights! And thank you for changing Crispin's rights as well. Zell Faze (Talk) 23:10, 14 May 2014 (EDT)

Mediawiki 1.23 released

Mediawiki 1.23 has been released. It contains numerous changes from the 1.22 line (and even more from our current version). This version is a long-term support version and will be provided with security updates until 2017. We are currently using 1.18 support for which ended in late 2011. ===I'll try to get to it over the holiday weekend. I'm on the road this week so gonna have to wait a tad.
