Greetings. Glad to be of assistance. I've been a long-time editor on en.wikipedia and on my own wiki for my D&D campaign world. Are there any particular projects that need updating or creation? --Averykrouse 02:36, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Artus pass, is Sutra spelled backwards, since it's his park, with a random word after it. I see that name misspelled all over the place. Also I uploaded the new MS heraldry.~ Elder 00:54, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

Hey Linden I never did respond to the messeges you left on my page, and so I thought better late than never right. Anyhoo I am always glad to add to the Amtwiki. I love this site. I am a total history nerd and I have always wanted some way to chronicle the history of Amtgard, and you have provided that. So I am always glad to help with that endeavor, and any additional help or info you have concerning EH, Eagleshire or my old home of Golden Plains is always appreciated. Thanks again for a place for me to dork out on Amtgard history. - Fionnigan Hellblazer

Somebody is a Dennis Leary hater! XD -WereBear

Please leave the the changes to my pages me and my group are leaving amtguard and wish not to be listed thankyou Inozera

Not a problem, I would have put a picture of her up but she is very pregnant and therefore very camera shy. - Kupe

Hey i don't know if you got my email but i need help deleting pics off the wiki that you dont want can you help? Fyoré

  • I can help you, what do you need deleted? Hannoske 11:36, 9 March 2009 (EDT)

I see you finally decided to clean out the old talk page. Hannoske 10:38, 9 February 2009 (EST)

Hi Linden! Sorry for poofing, once March rolls around and I am out of the hotseat here in GV expect to see more of me around here. Congrats by the way! --Bowen 13:10, 4 January 2009 (EST)

Damnit .. I was so proud of myself for doing a good job on a new page entry .. and I went and forgot to add the categories. Nice catch .. ;-) Brigade

Aren't you supposed to be on vacation? Hannoske 14:09, 13 November 2008 (EST)

  • But you are still massively editing the wiki. I guess skipping the current events is a minor break, but I was expecting to not even see your name, and what do you know, it is all over the recent updates page. Hannoske 14:26, 13 November 2008 (EST)

Ortega: Thank you for helping me with my wiki! :)

-I wrote such a large comment, I figured I'd put it over in email, lol... @_@- Leeskra 2/25/09

Thank you I was wondering if you could tell me how to do it myself so I don't have to go asking for help again if possible, and thank you again.

-It's a pleasure to be back. I love the Amtgard Seven books; I enjoy the fact that I can help make them more accessible to Amtgard at large (especially in places where .pdfs aren't available, i.e. mobile apps, or when people would prefer not to have to scroll through all the pictures 'n such). I think all of the Amtgard Seven relics are now up, and I'm contemplating reorganizing the current relics page so that it has neat subsections instead of a laundry list of all the relics people have used at some point in the murky flurby past. There are still a few sections of the 7.5 Rulebook that haven't been put up, which I'm planning to take on some time this week. Also, most of the Rulebook Glossary terms are still 7.2, so I'll have to sort through those, seeing as I put probably half of them up when we were still one/three revisions ago...Mithrandiel 11:47, 10 May 2009 (EDT)

  • The missing/errant 7.5 Rulebook sections are now up. I tweaked the formatting on some of them (compared to 7.2)--hope it's alright. Anything else in particular I should be looking to fix up some time soon?
  • I happened across the eSam thread (I don't usually go there as much as I likely should) and discovered that I was a victim of the 67.IP thing--with the proper DNS name now, I appear to have the Google Maps and reCAPTCHA working for my computer now. As for high privileges, well, that was unexpected, but I'm honored. Hopefully it will include the power of banhammering those annoying linkspammers (they make me go grr, and things like that). --Mithrandiel 16:44, 19 May 2009 (EDT)

So while patrolling edits, I noted Tully has his Orders all spelled out ORK-style on his page, which I know is policy we try to discourage. Should I change it myself? Leave a message on his talk page? Do nothing? I'm not sure what degree of intervention is appropriate. -Mithrandiel 14:36, 25 July 2011 (EDT)

Seriously though, the word that's not working goes along with "to" on Christmas gift tags. Through trial and error (and a bit of paraphrasing) I was able to pick out the offender. The page now contains all the relevant info, even if it's not word-for-word. Mithrandiel 14:27, 27 June 2011 (EDT)

  • I recommend you read this. I believe your problems may be similar. Hannoske 11:31, 1 July 2011 (EDT)

Random Stuff

Linden did you get my email? Bromos

Ill re send it just for good measure ^_^ Bromos

Not even going to give them a chance at fixing those pages? Hannoske 14:25, 6 March 2009 (EST)

  • Meh, not worried, just thought I would give them a chance. Hannoske 14:55, 6 March 2009 (EST)

Player categories/subcategories clarification

Should things that are in a sub-category of a main category have both categories? Example: Player is in Cat:Pegasus Valley and Cat:Dragonspine, but Cat:PV is a sub of Cat:DS. Should the player have both or just Cat:PV? --Glenalth 15:56, 27 January 2009 (EST)

Its either Five Oaks or PWN, but I am certain he wasn't from my park. ORK said PWN, so thats what I put. Thanks Linden. --Taver Firestrike 21:37, 10 February 2009 (EST)

FTLOG

Ask and ye shall receive; all the classes are updated to the 7.5 Rules. I am pretty sure I caught all the magic changes to when I went through. I think I need another 6 month hiatus ;-) --Bowen 17:53, 28 March 2009 (EDT)

Excellent, just make sure we get a Jedi or two to come save me in time for SKBC --Bowen 21:10, 28 March 2009 (EDT)

Funny stuff

User:Bellero has been busy adding penises to heraldry. I'm thinking it was just to get it on the front page with the PV heraldry through. --Glenalth 15:32, 30 March 2009 (EDT)

WTF?

http://amtwiki.net/amtwiki/index.php/Sev his ORK says he's Squired under Sir Egil, but that's never been cleared. Is there a way to either confirm this or get it off of his ORK? I'm certain that Egil's real squires wouldn't like the idea of someone falsely claiming their belt line. --Taver Firestrike 01:02, 8 April 2009 (EDT)

  • I would recommend talking to your PM. It looks like it is under the miscellaneous section, just ask the PM to delete it until it can be confirmed. Hannoske 11:26, 8 April 2009 (EDT)

He's not from my park anymore, so we'd have to talk to The River's End. This guy has been falsely claiming a lot of things unrightfully, including company colors.

Thank you Linden, for helping out on this one. --Taver Firestrike 12:25, 8 April 2009 (EDT)

Yeah well I got sick of looking at it. *Shrugs* I'll revamp it eventually. --Taver Firestrike 23:12, 21 April 2009 (EDT)

Re: Omega

Unfortunately there isn't confusion, just wishful thinking. Certain members have refused to accept my resignation. I will talk to Goliath and Sanchez and try to make sure the silliness stays off the Wiki. --Bowen 10:13, 17 April 2009 (EDT)

Some Stuff

1) "The "Knights of Kingdom" categories indicate which kingdom knighted the party, not where they reside." You have to remind people of this a lot. Maybe we should have an additional "Knights in Kingdom" category to help alleviate some confusion?

2)In reference to some content on Jynx's page: "Seriously. I've removed it once already. If you don't quit I I'll ban the both of you." Why is this content unacceptable? It seems no less silly than the stuff on my page. -Lurker 15:47, 25 May 2009 (EDT)

Cake

Beboman has some eating disorder thing, and the "cake" image was something one of the so-cal Amtgardians came up with to make fun of him. It's a demotivational photo of him assaulting a full-sheet cake (about half gone) with a fork, the caption: "Om nom nom nom".

Beboman can be rather annoying (the usual social ineptitude compounded by this and that). This image has been added to his page and removed again on several occasions, most likely after he bothered someone. Given that this is right after Darkshore, I'm guessing someone felt his antics deserved some form of retribution.

--Lucas 18:06, 28 May 2009 (EDT)

not sure if i was supposed to reply here or on my talk page, but I was replacing a picture that had been put there by someone else. It was a copyright violation.

Err... fixed what? --Lucas 16:33, 14 July 2009 (EDT)

Unblocking how-to

  1. Go to the user's contributions page. For Example: http://www.amtwiki.net/amtwiki/index.php/Special:Contributions/166.121.36.10
  2. Click on "Block Logs" up top.
  3. You'll see a list of blocks & unblocks for the user in question. At the end of each (active?) block, you'll see an "unblock" link.
  4. I think you can figure out the rest.

I think you can also get their from the Special:Logs page. Yep. You can filter the log for "blocks", and again, each entry has an "unblock" link at the end.

<3

Linden is marking things "patrolled". Happy Dance. --Lucas 16:59, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Happy!

Cockland is actually one of my nicknames. I think I should be allowed to use a link that is a name that I am actually called. It's not a personal joke, its actually something that is legitimately used. Can I please use my redirect? --Cockland 05:04, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the catch on the 1-month ban boss, I knew I forgot to do something! --Bowen 19:05, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Your latest entry under Armor: 'Purchase Armor': Do you feel it's a good idea to post links for purchasing armor. While I can understand if the link was to an Amtgard player's armor site, any other link could be interpreted as Amtgard showing a preference towards certain armor sites. --Magnus Blackeagle 14:40, 21 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for adding our group, but it should be Griffon Hill instead of hills. The link is going to the wrong page. If you can delete the Griffon Hills page also, just so there is no confusion.

Articles for Deletion

Is there presently a category or template used to mark pages for deletion? I'm going through the dead-end and short pages and I'm noticing quite a few that are empty, infrequently used, or purposeless. Some of them I'm turning into relevant redirects, but many should likely be merged. --Averykrouse 05:17, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

My apologies for the delay in response. Since you posted on my userpage instead of my talk, I never got a notification! =) We're waiting on NW's BoD to have its meeting, but all indicators indicate we'll be accepted. We are hosting the principality's Midreign, after all! I'll get to work on an AfD template shortly. I'll borrow a box from Wikipedia. =) Look for {{afd}} shortly.

Class Page Overhaul

Take a look at Archer and tell me if you like the overhaul and table format. If it seems helpful, I'll go ahead and do so for all the other classes. Averykrouse 03:27, 30 December 2010 (EST)

And as an aside, any chance you can fix the AmtWiki Statistics bit on the Main Page? For whatever reason it's creating a third column just for that particular header. Not even certain it's a necessary box of info regardless, but c'est la vie. Looking at the source, it may be the empty line breaks causing the problem, but not 100% sure. --Averykrouse 03:55, 30 December 2010 (EST)

  • I fixed the main page, a "|-" was left off, easy fix, just had to stare long enough. Also, the archer page looks good. I like tables. Hannoske 16:53, 1 January 2011 (EST)
    • Well thankye. I am glad to be of assistance. I should have all the classes finished up today. Anything particularly offensive to the aesthetic or wikisenses that ought go on my to-do list next? Methinks the magic tables on the four classes could and should go next, just to ease up the code and clean the table. --Averykrouse 12:34, 2 January 2011 (EST)

Wetlands Tourney Page

Greetings. My apologies for taking so long in formatting the tourney page for you. I have rectified that delay. Please take a look and tell me if any other changes need to be made.

I would assume this page will make sense to those in the Wetlands or those participating in the tourney? As it stands, I see a bunch of data with headers but none of the data makes any sense to me. Perhaps some clarification could be added? -- Tobias info | talk 15:48, 7 February 2011 (EST)

No problemo. Every so often I go "Oh hey, I'm gonna fix that. Done." I get into spurts I suppose. Anything needing an overhaul and such? ---- Tobias info | talk 15:13, 1 April 2011 (EDT)

AmtHistory Template

I was bored, and messed around with some ideas on different ways to have that category display. Tell me what you think. Template talk:AmtHistory.   Takaffi   talk    contribs    email   22:01, 8 January 2012 (EST)

Hey boss, are you having any trouble deleting photos? Getting some weird errors. --Bowen 12:49, 8 March 2012 (EST)

Can I steal an inactive player page?

I haven't seen anything pointing to anyone else to bring this up with, so: If being first, and/or more notable and/or actually active are grounds to transfer "ownership" of character pages, I'm the orignal Revan, from Frost Lands, friend to Bangor and Elder Donnovan amongst others, and have the slumbering e-sam account to prove it ;P Plus that other guy hasn't played in almost ten years and has aboud a half dozen lifetime credits, much less do anything as awesome as attending a regular park day while a resident of Japan! Seems reasonable to rename that page to his ork username (revan and some numbers I forgot) so I can have the page to go with my ORK name which like here and the forums is also simply "revan".

If it's not cool for some reas, I can be a good sport about it and come up with some snarky epitaph like "Revan Classic" or "Revan: all the sugar and twice the caffeine" but not literally those because I'd want it to be more relevant to my persona and not just an obvious anachronistic reference. I think there's an allegorical quest battle here too if that's not too self-aggrandizing for the persona.

EtA: I'm willing to help with cleanup but I'm not very well amt-traveled so I don't know how much I have left to contribute besides taking myself and a non-existant freehold I might have started while living in milwaukee if other hobbies had a better effort:enjoyment ratio.

Petra's Beltline

I deleted it because she had blanked it after creating a duplicate page. BlackBart 15:53, 14 November 2017 (EST)

Ah, nevermind, I see you already worked that out yourself. No worries :) BlackBart 15:53, 14 November 2017 (EST)

Beltline Edits

Hey there, how do we go about making edits to Beltlines now? I was recently squired under the Thorn Belted Line under Sir Ice, but his section needs some edits that I was going to make while adding mine as well.

Thank you!
