2012 Audit

Are you active? What is your average number of players locally per week?
We are active and meet twice a week, Saturdays and Sundays at 1 pm. Through the winter and spring we've had between three and five members, though in the past few weeks we've had as many as eight. It seems new people show just after others lose interest.
What days and times do you meet?
We meet every Saturday and Sunday at 1pm.
What park do you meet in, city and state? Can you give directions or a physical address?
We meet at Shadyside Memorial Park in Anderson, Indiana. If you take the Broadway St. entrance and continue forward to the parking lot you have a place to park. From there you'll walk to the lightly wooded opening behind the playground.
Who is your leadership? Can we have and post their contact information?
Saladin Rigopulos, Sheriff and Prime Minister. My mundane name is Brandon Reeves. I can be contacted via cellular phone at (765) 620-7506, but I prefer to share the number on an as-per-request basis.
What is your heraldry? Do you have a jpeg or other image file we can upload to the wiki?
Our group heraldry has already been posted to the wiki.
Have you taken a recent group photo of your chapter? Can we have a copy?
Our most recent group photo was taken in September and as a result is quite out of date.
Do you have an example of your chapter's heraldry in use, as a favor, garb, banner, or similar?
No, we are an unskilled, un-funded group in the arts and sciences. As a result we have no use of our heraldry on the field, though I'd like to see that changed.
When was your chapter founded? By whom?
Serpent's Hollow was founded March 17, 2011 by Verial Zarendian.
Do you have traditions or games that you would say define your chapter?
I've been to a couple of events and have noticed a lot of difference. First off we prefer not to ditch and stick with class games. Secondly we do not do the light-tapping or "drum roll" fighting. While we don't hit too hard we actually put some swing into it -- if we wanted gentle hitting we'd join Dag.
Do you have an active forum, facebook groups, or mailing list? Can you give us links?
We do have a Facebook group moderated by Saladin. 1
Have you had any news organizations do any pieces on your chapter in the last two years?
We had a small feature in the local news paper May 31, 2011.
What have you been doing to attract new players?
I've made a couple of Craigslist postings and had posted a couple of flyers at the local game shops.
Has anything happened in the last year that you would like included in your history?
No, we had not done anything of mention.
