2012 Audit

Are you active? What is your average number of players locally per week?
We just started so we are still small but there are at least 3-5
What days and times do you meet?
Saturday at Noon
What park do you meet in, city and state? Can you give directions or a physical address?
Finlay Park in Columbia, SC. Directions are posted on our website. Located Here
Who is your leadership? Can we have and post their contact information?
Currently Myriden DeLuca is monarch and Scribble is PM. You can contact either one of us by phone (but I would prefer you not post it) 803-736-7465. I'm Scribble, so you already have my email. Myriden doesn't check his often.
What is your heraldry? Do you have a jpeg or other image file we can upload to the wiki?
I am going to assume that you mean park heraldry and not personal heraldry. I will attach both to this email.
Have you taken a recent group photo of your chapter? Can we have a copy?
Not yet. Like I said before, we just started this park and still trying to get the word out. Once we do, you are welcome to it.
Do you have an example of your chapter's heraldry in use, as a favor, garb, banner, or similar?
We have a banner currently and I am in the process of making garb with the parks heraldry on it for anyone who would want it.
When was your chapter founded? By whom?
March 1, 2012 by me, Scribble (Chenoa McGee) and Myriden (Marvin McGee Jr)
Do you have traditions or games that you would say define your chapter?
I don't really think our park is old enough yet to consider anything a tradition. But we do let the younger kids who are not old enough to actually fight play a game of ring the bell.
Do you have an active forum, facebook groups, or mailing list? Can you give us links?
We have a website that I posted above, A facebook page 1 and a fb group 2
Have you had any news organizations do any pieces on your chapter in the last two years?
no, but we have been contacted by a photographer (but he never showed up)
What have you been doing to attract new players?
We go out every weekend in garb, hand out flyers, post flyers at game shops and the local collage, even post on craigslist regularly. I've thought about demos, but so far I lack the players interested to put on a good show. However, I am open to more suggestions to attract new players.
Has anything happened in the last year that you would like included in your history?
nothing major. We knew ahead of time that we'd be the only park in the Carolinas (north and south), and to add to it, there are only 2-3 in northern Virgina. But as far as having anything history wise? We just started.
