About

A fighting company that more often resembles a kind of stationary gypsy camp, the Peregrine Company is mainly concerned with adventure, travel, and learning new skills. Peregrines are typically not heavily armored, valuing speed and dexterity over brute force. A single member is relatively innocuous, but their strength lies in numbers and in strategy; when alone, a Peregrine will often retreat or wait for backup, favoring teamwork over personal glory.

Peregrines split loot among themselves, laugh at nearly everything, and will usually shrug off an insult in order to remain diplomatic. If you help one member of this company, another may pay you back instead. Peregrine Company tries to remain on good terms with other Companies and Households in the area, and they are sometimes followed around by small groups of unaffiliated travelers seeking a temporary sheltering group.

They tend to hang out in trees, and are often spotted along woodland trails.

This Company has received special dispensation from their home park that allows members to gain Lycanthropy on Self when certain conditions are met.

Current Goals

The company is currently focused on acquiring new skills, both in battle and in Arts and Sciences. Peregrines are highly encouraged to have at least one creative outlet in order to keep their hands nimble and their minds sharp. Their captain owns a small shop, Swallowtail Goods & Trade, where company members sell items they have personally made; these funds are used to keep the Peregrines well-supplied.

Requirements

The word "peregrinus" is Latin for wanderer, and so most members have some kind of travel or exile in their backstory. The only real requirements are decent teamwork skills and a willingness to learn and teach.
