Biography
I as first introduced to Amtgard in March 1996 when I was approached by a classmate, Jack Gilbert (Maegus) about joining a live-action medieval fighting game called Amtgard. I went out the first Sunday of that month and watched. After 30 minutes of watching, I decided I wanted to try it out. I never set out to do anything but fight (which will show in my awards, hehe) but I enjoyed it until too many people decided to make a **ssing contest out of it. So I left the group and I'd still like to do it but I can't deal with the politics. *update* Rejoined Amtgard in 2009 after leaving in 2004. Joined up with some old Dragons' Keep members, keeping Drexel Park as our base park. The group was restarted as a Freehold and have been going strong and growing for almost 3 years now. Having a great time and actually starting to get more active in the political aspect (just A&S) at the moment. Starting to remember the reason I started Amtgard in the first place.
