Biography
Kaida joined Astral Winds in 2010 by attending Sir Gorin's Astral Academy. When she turned 14 that summer, she fully became a member of the park. Over the years, she has travelled to and played at every park in Alaska (as of 2017).
Character History
Kaida Dragonfriend is a catfolk who grew up with pirates (please, they prefer the name privateers), wandered in the woods for many years, and eventually gave her scout skills to the land of Astral Winds. Of the many who took her under their wing, Baronet Atlas granted her the title Man-At-Arms in 2012, and they crafted and munched on good food for many nights.
After several years of civilization and making friends, Kaida dedicated her talents to the healing arts. She travelled far and wide to help others, making a name for herself. In 2016 she was granted the title "Paragon Healer".
When the Dragon Eggs were brought to Northreach from their parent chapter Dragonspine, Kaida threw her efforts into helping the dragons who weren't bonded to people. These wild dragons took up residence in the Greatwald, and Kaida made it her duty to keep them safe from others, and keep the land safe from them. She vanished from the civilized lands of the north for many years, in her quest. It was during this time that the dragons gave her a last name, Dragonfriend.
Upon returning to Ravenstone, Kaida found the lands changed and the population grown. Though some remembered her, many new faces dotted the landscape. After a chance meeting with Rei Okami, Kaida was invited to join House Okami. Some of the dragons migrated to the house's home on Vesper Isle, and Kaida made the place her home. She currently resides in her own ship, the Emerald Storm, moored to the single dock on the Isle. Her wanderlust takes her many places still, but the household's residents have become her family.
