Dru'vong shatterbone

From AmtWiki

"So..my former clan was pretty warlike. We went to war a lot, and our instruments matched our clan of orcs. Our instruments were loud and carrying, and they had to be. My former clan had a lot of orcs, some high ranking orcs, and the highest one was the chieftain."

"My former clan also had orcs of mixed gender, both male and female."

"I think the wardrums of my former clan were loud, but I wasn't allowed to play them."

"Only full blooded orcs were allowed to play them."

"As for the warhorns, those only belonged to high ranking orcs and also the chieftain. I wasn't allowed one either."

"I definitely remember both as being very loud once my former clan went off to war."

"My former clan went off to war against the elves mainly, but sometimes we fought against the humans..and even other orcs!"

"Sometimes we'd go to war against the dwarves, but only rarely. Mainly over land disputes."

"As for signaling duties, the orcs of my former clan were jealous of the humans and how they were able to signal their armies with trumpet and drum and horns, so I asked them to do the same thing the humans did. Turns out that it worked rather well, mostly since our clan already had usable warhorns and wardrums."

"so..the chieftain approved of the idea I gave them after a lot of arguing from the high ranking orcs."

"We did have a stronghold years ago, but when orcish scouts of various armies started showing up near our stronghold and ended up spying on us, especially once I was born, the chieftain told us all we had to move."

"So..on normal formations for flatlands and stuff, the chieftain was in the very front with his warhorn, sounding it as he and his army went and the high ranking orcs would be behind him with the warhorns, all with earplugs on, sounding them if needed. And drummers behind them especially to the left and the right of them..with earplugs on as well. The sound was loud and boisterous and intimidating...it was something the orcs in my former clan loved to hear...and something I'd love to hear as well, possibly again if possible."

"I think they were jealous of having a human show up in an orc clan for some reason..as well as a half-orc son..and also loving parents of the half-orc son."

"As for weapons, my former clan varied a lot regarding them. We had various blades, including shortsword and longswords, but more with an orcish touch. When we went off to war, we included blades, maces, shortswords, and maybe a cleaver or two.. and also weapons that can be easily sharpened and used on the move."

"so really..any weapon that we could find that could use an Orc's strength in our former clan, we used.."

"Oh..and everytime my former clan marched off to war, our wardrums and warhorns followed."

"So..I want a war drum and a warhorn to rival what my former clan had if possible.."

"Since I never got a chance to get either one since I wasn't accepted in my former clan for being a half-orc.."

"That's the reason why I left my former clan eventually..I wasn't accepted as a proper member there..so I ended up leaving them until I found Doomcaber."

"And also, my former clan wanted to be intimidating on the battlefield..so they chose to do that via sound. It was a way to make ourselves different to other Orcish clans."

The Changeover

"So..the changeover went pretty well, but rather sudden."

"My former clan wasn't originally nomadic as it is currently."

"We were mainly in a stronghold originally, somewhere in the Orcish lands."

"But after I was born, more orcish scouts showed up, probably to spy on us and invade us on the behalf of other rival clans."

"Once the chieftain started to notice, it was then time to leave. The other clan members heard frantic warhorn blasts, signifying an alarm. Everyone then packed up and left in such a hurry, that it was sheer chaos throughout the stronghold!"

"Once we left the stronghold, torchbearers were assigned and others were assigned various tasks."

"However, all I've really known is the nomadic lifestyle."
