Dreadnaught Legion
Dreadnaught Legion, a Fighting Company of Crying Heavens, Neverwinter
Founded by Drake Devereaux and Avarice on 5-31-09.
Outraged by the lack of strategy in combat warfare, Dreadnaught Legion has banned together to bring the law of tactics to the land of Crying Heavens. Dreadnaught Legion prevails over those who believe they are better off overrunning their opponents in a single charge. Dreadnaught Legion is not a group of individuals, but rather a singularity. Those who face Dreadnaught Legion will see a line of shields and spears. Dreadnaught Legion bases their main strategies off of the Spartan warriors.
on 6-28-09, a man by the name of Vizo Deshra joined Dreadnaught Legion and lead the fighting company in a Maori war chant known as the Haka, where all the heads of Dreadnaught Legion participated. It was a day filled with lightning and harsh rain, and few had the privilege of witnessing the first participation by Dreadnaught Legion of the Maori Haka.
on 7-12-09, the leader Drake stepped down due to his outrage in the lack of honor his enemy had for the valhalla of the battle. (There mundane issues involving people not taking there hits when they should when ever they found even the tiniest excuse to cover it up. Due to this, Drake is currently away from Amtgard.)
on 7-19-09, Vizo joined his first battle along side Avarice and Icarus as Avarice proclaimed before his arrival that he had faith that Vizo would arrive in time to aid them. As Vizo entered Crying Heavens, he lead Avarice and Icarus in the Maori Haka; this was the first public display of the Haka from Dreadnaught Legion, and impressed not only his allies, but also the enemy that witnessed the display as well. This lead to an honorable and glorious battle due to his first arrival. This was also the day that Icarus was officially made the current leader of Dreadnaught Legion, announced in secret only to the Sheriff Andronius and later announced to the leader of the Tear of Blood Mortis.
