Trying to get some use out of this page. Seems like a good place to note the headlines before pairing them down for the "years" history. The from page is protected from unregistered users because it gets spammed a lot, not because I want any one to be prevented from updating. So long as you are logged in you should have no trouble adding new events. If you have any issues please feel free to contact me, Roger, or Hannoske, for help and information. Or you can post the even here and one of the admins will add it for you. Linden 00:36, 28 January 2008 (EST)

This is where I will be leaving my notes for future "Weekends in Amtgard" So I can keep this straight, and so that everyone can add in the same place, saving effort.

Front Page News Template

I am trying to get some of the news onto the front page of the Amtwiki. To that end I'm using a Template, one advantage of this is it will allow its inclusion directly in another page (if there is another way to do this I'm not sure). This is the Template:Current Events template being used.

It does seem a bit long, trying to decide if we should filter that down to "major" events but obviously that would be a judgemnet call. It looks fine on my monitor, but I have a big monitor.

So what I'd like is the most current events to be on the template, everything else here. The template will also point here.Roger 08:54, 4 February 2008 (EST)

This week

Was just heavy on the news, I figure that future ones will be shorter. Thanks for adding this to the front page! --Linden 01:21, 5 February 2008 (EST)

I think will be changing the template out each Wednesday, circumstances permitting, so that new so the week before has time to resolve before it's take down.

For Ease, and so that they can be used as a resource I have moved my notes on upcoming events to a page called "Upcoming Events" --Linden 00:31, 18 February 2008 (EST)
