Biography
McNikle was introduced to the game by Val of Land's End in early 2010, they played on and off for a few months until Kite brought them to D.O.G. (now MAME) in Mankato, MN. They fell in love with event atmosphere and the competitive nature of battlegames at events. He moved to Polaris in early 2014.
Through multiple years of running local and kingdom events, and most notably feast-o-cratting every event they could, McNikles was elevated to the peerage as a Knight of the Flame in 2023.
After years of faithful service in office to Polaris, McNikles was elevated to Knight of the Crown at MAME 2024

Samael is the head of the McNikle family. Gallios and Kothir are their two in game brothers and Beatrice McNikle is their real life and in game wife.
Persona Biography
Samael McNikle was born in the twilight between human civilization and elven wilderness. Their father, a human adventurer, fell in love with an elven sorceress during his travels through the dense forests of Land's End. Their union bore fruit in Samael, a child of two worlds, with the strength and resilience of their human heritage and the arcane prowess of their elven bloodline.
From a young age, Samael was drawn to the mystical arts. They spent their childhood exploring they ancient ruins scattered throughout the forests of the North, deciphering forgotten runes and unlocking the secrets of lost magic. But as they grew older, their thirst for knowledge led him beyond the borders of their homeland.
Venturing into the Empire of Rivermoor, Samael honed their skills as a magus under the tutelage of renowned spellcasters. They studied ancient tomes and mastered the art of spellblade combat, blending swordplay with sorcery in a deadly dance of magic and steel. Yet, their hunger for power knew no bounds, and they soon found themselves drawn to the forbidden depths of dark magic.
In their relentless pursuit of arcane mastery, Samael traveled to distant lands, seeking out legendary sorcerers and collecting their forbidden knowledge. They became known as a ruthless seeker of magic, unafraid to steal spellbooks from defeated enemies or delve into forbidden rituals to unlock new spells.
Eventually, Samael found himself drawn to the Kingdom of Polaris, a land shrouded in ice and mystery. Intrigued by rumors of ancient frost magic and powerful artifacts hidden beneath the frozen wastes, they made Polaris their new home, establishing himself as a formidable spellblade in service to the kingdom.
But even as they settled into their new surroundings, Samael's wanderlust remained unquenched. they continued to roam the world, seeking out new challenges and adding to their ever-growing spellbook. Whether battling dark wizards in the depths of forgotten dungeons or exploring the untamed wilderness of distant lands, Samael McNikle remains a figure of legend, a half-elf magus whose thirst for magic knows no bounds.
