Trying to get some use out of this page. Seems like a good place to note the headlines before pairing them down for the "years" history. The from page is protected from unregistered users because it gets spammed a lot, not because I want any one to be prevented from updating. So long as you are logged in you should have no trouble adding new events. If you have any issues please feel free to contact me, Roger, or Hannoske, for help and information. This is where I will be leaving my notes for future "Weekends in Amtgard" So I can keep this straight, and so that everyone can add in the same place, saving effort.

February 9th and 10th 2008

• Kingdom Quals is held in the Golden Plains autocrated by Colin. Moonshadow has declared for Monarch

Nevon for Regent and Arklon for Champion.

• The Throw in the Snow 5: Live or Die!; or “Tits” as it is affectionately called is held at Camp Hitaga in Walker, Iowa by the Duchy of Olympus
• Kingdom Crown Quals and Warmaster tournament for Blackspire are at Leverich Park in Vacouver, WA Auotcrated by Tseng. Darrian Declares his intent to run for second term as Monarch.
• In Elizabethtown, KY the Rising Winds holds a one day free Winter War Event.
• The Duchy of Murky Waters in Killeen, Tx holds their Bi-annual celebration, Troll Fest.
• The Kingdom of the Wetlands holds their Collegium at the Grangerland Community Center in Conroe, Tx.
• Declarations for the Monarchy Begin in the Rising Winds.
• The Duchy of Phoenix Tears in Springfield, illinois will hold their Qualifications.

February 16th -17th 2008

• EH Prime Minister Elections/Weapon Master on the 16th at Midnight Sun and on the 17th at Finders Keep
• The Wetlands Monarchy visits their new chapter Cairn Garneth party at Feral's to follow.
• Mists of the Dawn a chapter under Iron Mountains is holding it's local Midreign at North Park in Lakeville, MN.
• Desert Winds held their Principality Dragonmaster/ Weapon Master in conjunction with Rivers End Crown Quals at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City, Utah.

February Febuary 23rd - 24th

• Kingdom Crown Qualifications will be held in the Rising Winds at the Riverchase gymnasium in Indianapolis, IN.
• Mists of the Dawn plans a Trip to a joint event to be held by Crimson Circle and the Frostlands at Grace Lutheran Church in Green Bay, WI called the Casbah Feast.
• The Principality of Desert Winds will hold their Midreign in conjunction with Rivers End Coronation held at Liberty Park, in Salt Lake City Utah, during the day and Feast that night at the Castle of Chaos.

March

Febuary 29th to March 2 2008

• Submissions for EH Althing are due, as well as the finial day for submission of World Banner Wars Bids.
• The 3rd Triple Midreign and Olympiad is Held in Mexia, Texas. A joint event involving the Wetlands, Emerald Hills and Celestial Kingdom.

March 7, 8, 9 2008

• GP Coronation Held at Camp Don Harrington at 10$ a person.
• Emerald Hills Holds a Kingdom Allthing,

March 15th

• Ironman II will be held at lower city park in Iowa City, Iowa.

March 19th - 23rd

• The largest Amtgard event, Spring War:Academy of Wars, to be hosted by the Celestial Kingdom in Giddings, Texas.
• Veles Harbour with hold a one day free event called "Spartan Games" on the 22nd.

March 28th, 30th 2008

• Rising Winds Coronation
• Emerald Hills Celebrates their 40th reign and their 20th year as a kingdom with a Birthday Bash , at Tanglewood Forest.

April

• Crimson Circle, A chapter pledging Rising Winds is planning to hold a mini event called the Great Northern Battle at the Frostlands Park.
• Apr 5th - EH Monarchy Kings Point (Hurst, TX)
• April 19th - EH Monarchy Storm Grove (Ft. Smith, AK)

May

• May 4th - EH Monarchy Finders Keep (Wichita Falls, TX)
• May 14th-18th Salt Wars DW
• May 17th - EH Monarchy18th - Kingdom Allthing, submissions required by May 3rd
• May 23rd 26th -Great Eastern
• May 25th - EH Monarchy Souls Crossing (Memphis, TN)

June

• June 7th - Crown Quals - Midnight Sun

July

February 23rd will be Principality Midreign in conjunction with Rivers End Coronation. Battle-games and activities will be held at Liberty Park during the day and Feast that night at the Castle of Chaos (final reservation > bending). Also DW Prime Minister Elections will be held this day.
