Dolphin

These aquatic mammals are amongst the most intelligent creatures in the briny deep. They travel in groups called pods and spend their lives protecting one another, swimming near the surface, and playing various aquatic games. On rare occasions, a single dolphin will befriend a surface-dweller, but they generally assist any sentient being they encounter floundering in the sea. Dolphins have a hatred of sharks and will fight them to the death.
