  1. When a Weapon is termed "Black" it means that that Weapon is poisonous, or will result in death. A hold over from the Dagorhir Rulebook that has little or no meaning today.
  2. If a Sash is black, it means that the wearer is playing an assassin.
  3. If a strip is black it means Poison or other Death Magic.
  4. If someone is wearing White face paint and a Black armband they are probably a Vampire.
  5. The colour black in heraldry is called Sable.
  6. In Medieval EuropeSable or black was thought to signify constancy, sometimes grief.
