An on-line gaming group made up of Amtgardians and friends.
History:
First appearance was in Bioware's Neverwinter Nights in 2002. Later formed as a full guild in NC Soft's Guild Wars in 2005 and Dungeons and Dragons: Online in 2006. Other projects have involved Folding@Home and Genome@Home distributed computing projects.

NSA sponsored challenge to see how quickly RC5-64 could be cracked by brute force. Project was ended in 2002 when the proper key was found.

Team Amtgard wound up at #96 of the 1794 teams with 101278.80 work units completed with Glenalth at #402 on the top users list with 49514.22 work units completed. The project was closed in 2004.
