First appearance was in Bioware's Neverwinter Nights in 2002. Later formed as a full guild in NC Soft's Guild Wars in 2005 and Dungeons and Dragons: Online in 2006. Other projects have involved Folding@Home and Genome@Home distributed computing projects.
