An Amtgard fighting company, the Sterling Dogs original inception was in Dragonspine in July of 2001. Created by Sir Ironpaw and Sir Feral Lynn, they soon brought roughly half a dozen members into the fold. It has grown slowly over the last 7 years to a dozen solid members spread across the Amtgard world, including Wetlands, the Iron Mountains, Rising Winds, and the Celestial Kingdoms.

Often referred to as targets due to the Viking sunwheel on the chest, the Sterling Dogs operate as shock troops, filling whatever gap is needed in a battle. Officers can be readily recognized by the white cuffs while members where a black cuff.

In addition to fighting, the Dogs value service to the club, excellence in the Arts and Sciences as well as loyalty to friends and family.
