Biography

A friend of Kupe's he saw him making a sword; after being repeatedly
hit by it he decided he wanted to come and hit others. His first event was
the Summer Coronation of the Principality of Rivermoor and the knighting
of Dame Teleri ne Tema. Since then he has thrown himself into the
game as he does the rest of his life, head first with little regard for his
personal safety or sanity; he tries so hard.

Persona

Jiang has many personas. Here are two.

Ormarr Svensson is Jiang's SCA and a representation of his desire to
put more effort into the total character of Amtgard personas. Ormarr
Svensson was born in the cold lands of the north. Son of Sven Randullsson
Spyn, brother of Ragnar Svensson Jinken. The name Ormarr is derived
from 11th century Danish text as a combination of two names: Orm, meaning
Dragon or Serpent, and Arr, meaning warrior or general. 11th to 12th century
Rus and Varangian garb is worn to portray this character.

Jiang is a Scorpion Samurai from the realm of Rokugan, the main country
in the Legend of the Five Rings game. Jiang, formerly known as Bayushi
Tetsuo, was a Scorpion Shinobi trained under Bayushi Aromoro. Tetsuo
changed his name after the fall of the Scorpion Emperor. Like many other
Scorpion, Jiang continues to support Aromoro and defend the throne secretly
by any means necessary. Japanese and Chinese style garb is worn to portray
this character, however given the background as a samurai from the house
of spies, any style clothing may be worn.
