Template talk:Current Events

From AmtWiki

If you have a problem with something on the Current Events Template you may discuss it here. But remember as this is a Wiki application, you too can edit and fix what you think is wrong, but please make sure your information is correct and not offensive, as this information will be seen on the front page of the AmtWiki. -Hannoske 12:04, 14 November 2008 (EST)

Is there a reason we have the kingdoms in the order we do, or would alphabetizing them be better? Hannoske 11:49, 14 November 2008 (EST)

Wetlands

Kane is the new King of the Wetlands. Regent is, ironically, his sister, Dame Samara. Sir Margul begins yet another term as Kingdom Champion while Sir LadyHawk remains as Prime Minister. Sir Kane's Reign is based on Fascism, Propaganda, and an Iron Fist. (Think "Mussollini").

Centerpoint

Rivermoor has voted to accept them, the Core of Iron Mountain's leadership has two weeks to veto our decision. (just to be TOTALLY accurate.)

The Lief banishment thing is weird. Have I been in a hole in regards to news about this?

Goldenvale Dragonspine?

A couple kingdoms have been left empty for the week in the news section on the main page, and as a result it seems that the names themselves seem to be messed up. "Goldenvale Dragonspine" and "Crystal Groves Desert Winds" are listed as one item each when they should be two different sections. --Lurker 20:12, 18 February 2009 (EST)

So fix it next time... --Glenalth 21:42, 18 February 2009 (EST)

I can't, you twit, it's a protected page. --Lurker 21:47, 18 February 2009 (EST)

It let me do it. --Glenalth 21:49, 18 February 2009 (EST)

Yeah, I am now noticing that the page does not in fact seem to be protected. I either misread something or something weird happened. I'll, uh, get it next time... --Lurker 21:50, 18 February 2009 (EST)

The front page is protected form silliness but anyone can edit the Template that current events are on. --Linden 22:31, 18 February 2009 (EST)

Main Page Redesign

Following the front page redesign, is this template still linked to anything?--Lumpy!! 13:52, 12 July 2012 (EDT)

I was originally going to utilize it, but it seemed mostly outdated and not in a good format for the new column based feed. So the new template is at Template:Upcoming Events.   Takaffi   talk    contribs    email   15:09, 12 July 2012 (EDT)
